The majority of SaXon Data is committed to the sector of renewable power technology data processing. Data Act
The newly proposed Data Act is intended to patch existing holes in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and overlap certain more important factors of the GDPR, whilst focusing on non-personal data protection and transnational data regulation which has largely been unregulated up until a few years ago.
The final text of the Data Act was agreed upon by the European Union Member States in June 2023 however, it remains in the process of endorsement from the European Parliament and Council before it can be officially entered into force as a European Regulation.

Data Governance Act
The Data Governance Act of May 2022 is a legislative measure of the European Union data protection strategy which came into force in June 2022 and after a subsequent grace period of 15 months was applicable as an official regulatory data framework in September 2023. This act targets public sector bodies and other entities as defined by the European Commission as "data altruism". "The DGA does not compel public bodies to allow the re-use of data" (Data Governance Act 2022, Article 1 (s)).
"Instead, it creates mechanisms and procedures under which public bodies can encourage the re-use of data for beneficial purposes. Member States can choose competent bodies to support other public sector bodies to grant access to re-used data that is achieved by integrating advice and providing secure processing environments" (European Commission 2023 (b)).

What format do I need for data transfers?
Your advisor will inform you of which file format to adopt before the transfer. This could be different to previous transfers depending on the size and content of the data.
Can files be corrupted during processing?
Corruption can occur occassionally throughout the processing of data. Our systems prevent file corruption by flagging potential attacks before they happen and preventing them access to data with advanced firewalls and active defences.
What is the maximum data set size for transfer?
There is no data set size limit. Our systems are capable of handling transfers of large giga and terra bite level data sets. We may split your data sets into mutiple packets for processing and system function reasons but this will not effect the data end point.
What firewall programming is active?
We choose not to disclose our syber security systems publicly for prevention reasons however, we primarily develope and operate all of our systems using python because of its superior functionality and security benefits.
Concerned about high cyber attack numbers?
It's entirely normal for systems to experience large numbers of cyber attacks. Automated viruses called 'worms' autonomously surf the cyber space until they 'bump into' a victim. Some worms will surf the data space for decades before finding anything. The majority of attacks are carried out by autonomous worms and our systems are more than capable of defending such attacks as well as more agressive human performed attacks by hackers.
Can I use multiple services at once?
There is no limit to how many services you can use at any one time. Just speak to your advisor who will organise everything for you and manage time with our engineers.
